bursury fund
The founder Miss Esther Akoth Kokeyo has sponsored students individually even before the formation of the foundation.
Esther Akoth Kokeyo has seen many students through school up to universities however the increase in news pop ups of students who could not make it to school due to lack of school fees and shopping, some even going as far as trying to commit suicide.
Miss Esther Akoth Kokeyo managed to admit 10 students in different secondary schools. These numbers increase over time and with this Akothee Foundation found it prudent
to form a bursary fund to support as many students as possible with the belief that their future is secure as these are our future leaders and the future lies in education.
FEEDING PROGRAMME
Akothee Foundation has been running feeding programs in Turkana, we identified a central place called NAPETET. This place has over 300 families living with HIV and AIDS, they avoid taking ARVs. they say when they take ARVs in an empty stomach it triggers sharp pains and feels like the stomach is into two and so they prefer to wait and die rather than taking the medication.
We therefore ask well-wishers to join us in this noble initiative by making any form of donation such as:
Dry food, medication etc. to help the vulnerable residents.
AKOTHEE FOUNDATION ACADEMY
A dream that has always bothered Miss EstherAkoth Kokeyo, she believes strongly that every child should have access to basic needs and education amongst others as her priority This dream hastened her vision to realize free primary education for the little ones.
Esther Akoth Kokeyo has donated 5 acres of land to cater for construction of a fully furnished school for the children around Kakmasict in Migori County.
Akothee Foundation Academy will be a fully free education center for the vulnerable and will provide pupils with both breakfast and lunch at school.
EstherAkoth Kokeyo believes this will not only improve the livelihood of the children but also provide different opportunities to the community & open the community to the world since Akothee foundation is recognised worldwide.
We therefore ask well-wishers to join us in this noble initiative by making any form of donation such as: Building Materials, Food Staffs, Uniforms, Shoes, Games kits etc, to help the
vulnerable children.

SANITARY TOWELS DRIVE
Many girls miss lessons or drop out of school during
their monthly period due to lack of sanitary towels. Some girls even exchange their bodies for a packet of sanitary towel. This behaviour leads to low self-esteem, unwanted pregnancies, early marriages, school dropouts and sexually transmitted diseases.
Akothee Foundation aims to empower the young girls so as to boost their body hygiene self-confidence and thus enable them to focus on education.
Therefore, the Foundation appeals to all well-wishers to help keep girls in school by donating one or more boxes of sanitary towels to our Akothee Foundation Sanitary Towel Drive.

RESCUE CENTRE -TURKANA
The founder Miss Esther Akoth Kokeyo happened to travel to Lodwar /Turkana to save the people dying of hunger due to famine and drought that repeatedly hit these areas.
In march 2019 there was a great wave of drought that led to death of livestock. Livestock being the main source of wealth that the Turkana people has; they suffer by traveling many miles in search of water and vegetation for the livestock. Definitely they have to find a way to save their livestock because this is their only source of survival. If their livestock start dying then human being follow.
Akothee Foundation has found it very Nobel to find a long-term solution;
- Digging BOREHOLES in each and every village would help them have access to clean water that will assist them in feeding their families and livestock.
- Building DISPENSARIES would help the communities in getting medical attention when ailing.
- Building CULTURAL CENTRE where they could show case their talents and also serve as an open market would help in circulation of resources /money in the community and to some extent help eradicate poverty
